<p>The programme draws from NLP, Sports Performance Psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. The programme provides you with simple models and techniques that improve motivation and broker success.</p>
<p>How is the course structured?<br />
The Programme is closely focused on promoting independent thinking and problem-solving in others. Coaching techniques are demonstrated and developed through practical activities. The programme content is backed by the relevant coaching theory. Together this offers you the opportunity to understand the psychology of motivation and develop the practical skills of coaching.<br />
Delegates learn to use a simple, but effective core coaching model. There are dozens of great coaching tips from an expert coach at every step of the way.</p>
<p>Who leads the programme?<br />
The one-day Coaching Skills Programme is designed and delivered by Will Thomas. Will is a highly experienced Performance Coach and trainer. He works with individuals from school age to old age. A Marks and Spencer Personnel manager from University, Will moved into education and became Head of Faculty in a large comprehensive school, he has used coaching extensively to enable people to maximise performance and overcome personal barriers to success. Will is co-author of the book Coaching Solutions and author of The Coaching Solutions Resource Book.</p>

It has been said that our habits make or break us. If our habits are positive then the opportunity to perform well in all areas of life are increased. </p>
<p>What will learners get? </p>
<p>Introduction to The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers® workshops from FranklinCovey, based on the best-selling book of the same name by Sean Covey and the No. 1 best-selling business book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey, gives young people a set of proven tools to deal successfully with real life. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers are essentially seven characteristics that happy and successful teenagers the world over have in common. Habits 1, 2, and 3 deal with self-mastery, called the &#8220;private victory.&#8221; Habits 4, 5, and 6 deal with relationships and teamwork, or the &#8220;public victory. &#8221; The last habit, Habit 7, is the habit of renewal. It feeds all the other six habits. </p>
<p>How does it work? </p>
<p>The training provides students with a step-by-step framework for boosting self-image, building friendships, resisting peer pressure, achieving goals, improving communication and relationships with parents, and much more. The habits build upon each other and foster behavioural change and improvement from the inside out. </p>
<p>12-30 is the recommended group size to ensure a personalized learning experience. </p>
<p>Support from school staff is essential. </p>
<p>In order to achieve accreditation learners need to: </p>
<p>Other non accredited options are available including half day, one, two and three day workshops. </p>
<p>Workshops will be delivered by Miguel Dean within a safe learning environment where learners will discuss, explore and take part in a variety of kinesthetic and creative activities. </p>
<p>What if we go for it? </p>
<p>On successful completion students will receive a Level 2 qualification in Personal Effectiveness accredited by Qualifications Network </p>
<p>In addition to this students will have a powerful set of empowering tools, which they can continue to master at school and at home.</p>
